MMK steel output falls 7.8% to 3.112 mln tns in Oct–Dec

MOSCOW, Jan 25 (PRIME) -- The steel output of Russia’s Magnitogorsk Iron and Steel Works (MMK) fell 7.8% on the quarter to 3.112 million tonnes in October–December, the company said in a statement Friday.

Cast iron output decreased 2.4% to 2.558 million tonnes.

In 2018, the company’s steel output went down 1.5% to 12.664 million tonnes. Cast iron output fell 3% to 9.86 million tonnes. Combined metal product sales grew 0.4% to 11.664 million tonnes.
